Dr. A. Sudha is an experienced ENT surgeon with over 20 years of clinical practice, specializing in the treatment of ear, nose, and throat disorders. She is currently serving as Senior ENT Consultant and Medical Administrative Officer at The Head and Neck Centre & Hospital, Chennai
She holds medical degrees from some of the most prestigious institutions in India:
- MBBS – PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore (1997)
- DLO (Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology)– Madras Medical College, Chennai (2000)
- DNB (ENT) – Trivandrum Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram (2006)

- Certified Tobacco Cessation Specialist (2022)
- TACT ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Training Program (2023)
Her extensive experience includes working in leading ENT and oncology hospitals across Chennai, Mumbai, and Trivandrum, including her tenure at Apollo Cancer Hospital, Teynampet. Beyond her medical practice, she is actively involved in community health projects, focusing on children’s healthcare, rural health, and hearing screening initiatives.

– Neuroendocrine tumors of the larynx
– Public health initiatives for tobacco cessation and hearing screening programs*
She has presented clinical case studies and participated in research activities related to ENT and head & neck disorders. Her expertise in ENT cancer management has been shaped by her time at Apollo Cancer Hospital, where she contributed to multidisciplinary treatment planning and patient care.
She remains actively engaged in academic discussions and collaborates with medical organizations to enhance awareness, prevention, and treatment of ENT-related diseases.

Dr. Sudha has been actively involved in medical education, training to vocational nurses in WIA on various topics like Tracheostomy care , Ryles tube feeding etc
